My only issue with this is why go with a L37 out back when you have a LD8 up front.

That's your only issue? How about twice the head gaskets, and how much more of a nightmare doing the rear engine starter will be since half the intake is under the rear glass?

Did they ever fix the dual transmission issue? When the test drives were being done back in the late 90s early 00s Mosler hadn't gotten that sorted and the shift points wouldn't line up right leading one of the engines to be in a higher gear forcing the other one up to redline.

It lead to numerous aborted runs/tests and then I stopped hearing about the car so I figured they couldn't and scrapped the idea.

Here's one of the old C&D articles on it: http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/mosler…

those are problems for my Mechanic and my accountant. Not for me. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Also easy way to fix that, buy car replace with post 2001 engines. no head gasket issue.. I mean seriously though if that's the reason you disapprove af this car, i don't think it was for you to begin with. Northstar loves is path fraught with great peril, heart ache, disappointment and overwhelming glee as well as joy! esp with those pre 2001 engines, hence why you must repeat the Northstars prayer daily:

The General is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me cruise down smooth boulevards: he leadeth me besides the cheap gas. He reveths my engine: he leadeth me in the paths of smooth revs for his name's sake. Yea, though I drive through the valley of the shadows of Death, I will fear no headgasket failure: For thou hath fixed them; thy revs and thy Torque they comfort me. Thou perparest a garage bay for me in the presence of my failures; thou removith thy heads ; my coolant runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will not dwell on my repair bills in the house of my mechanic for ever

Amen...
